Since 1997 Cosmic Vision has provided a unique shopping experience in downtown Asheville, assembling goods from around the world for the sake of serving those in need. With one of the best collections of exotic imports in Western NC, we are a one stop shop for eclectic gifts, jewelry and beautiful clothing suitable for any season and each purchase helps make the world a better place.
Cosmic Vision was founded by volunteers working with the non-profit organization AMURTEL and WWD-F to raise funds for a variety of projects serving the poorest communities in dozens of countries around the world. Whether schools in Guatemala and Jamaica, medical clinics in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, children’s homes and schools in Haiti and Thailand, community development in India, women’s employment and empowerment projects in Peru, Thailand or locally here in Asheville – just to name a few of our associated projects — the extensive list of service funded in part through the profits of Cosmic Vision has been an inspiration for the volunteers, workers and many loyal customers that have allowed us to make our store a meaningful landmark in downtown Asheville for 26 years.
